Just dropping by

E is sick and Nick had surgery on Thursday so we’ve just been at home relaxing all weekend.

Since E’s haircut, I’ve been wanting to see his hair like this because it never stayed up when his hair was longer, it didn’t this time either. I guess his hair is just too fine.

(you can somewhat see his scar under his chin here)

And this picture is what he does when he says ‘I took a bath and SCREAMED!’ (steaming from his accident. he’s back to loving his baths now but for awhile he would scream and then tell everyone about it later.)

Just some others that I loved:

The front of my house is North facing, I just love the light from it!

A day for a haircut

Roo needs his haircut at least once a month, really, it should be more like every 2 and half weeks - his hair just grows insanely fast! Today we took a trip down to the Barber’s. I was debating on the way down what to do with it. I like to keep it long because…….well, it makes him still look like a baby boy not a toddler. Is that sad? He’s growing up TOO fast!
I’ve been curious to see what it looks like short because he’s never really had it short [besides when he was a bitty baby]. I almost chickened out but Nick really talked me into it so…..I present my Rooster man with really short hair!

Oh my! See why I keep it long? He looks like a LITTLE MAN!

Meet J & L

The cutest twin boys!
I loved everything about them - their love for one another, those dimples, the brand new teeth poking through, each personality, and of course, their sweet baby rolls!!
I’ve been good friends with their mom for quite a few years so I made sure to carve some time out while I was in Oregon to make a special trip to meet these handsome  young men. It was so nice to catch up too!

Hope you enjoy the sneak peek, Shelly!

First, is L -

…doing 100 things at once…

Seems to be the story of my life.

The whole month of January we had family visiting, then shortly after that our little family took a trip around the US. First we went to Florida. E got to meet Mickey (his favorite!) for the first time! After Florida, we flew to Portland, OR to visit my hometown and family! After our vacation, I had to get my butt in gear for classes and workshops!

I would LOVE to show you pictures from our trip but…this is really embarrassing…I threw them in my trash thinking I saved them in a different folder. Uh yeah, you know where this is going right? Yep, emptied my trash and now they’re long gone. I spent all of yesterday trying to recover them and then my recovery program failed on me! I’m ready to pull out my hair. I saved only two pictures….one of Nick and E.

Nick:

And Roo! He LOVED being pulled around in a wagon! Tried something different in my post-processing and I’m not really feeling it.

Here’s another of my little man, taken at my mom’s house:

Quick note to the ladies from Beyond Just Images; Sorry for slacking! I’m catching up on everyone’s work this week!!
