Nick & I are sending out New Year’s cards instead of Christmas ones. I ‘cheated’ and bought this year’s card at Tiny Prints. I’m hoping to learn about more design this year so I can make my own next year!

I did an {very} early Valentine’s day session a few weeks ago. This was my first time using studio lighting. Boy, was it a challenge but I think the portraits turned out beautifully. Here’s a sneak peek. Enjoy ladies!

I had some issues. I switched over servers and hosting so I had to re-do everything essentially. I saved everything but my blog. It wasn’t a big deal to start over though since I didn’t have many posts. I have all the content saved. :)
Let me know what you think! Is the gray too dark? My mom says it makes her sad. Y’all know that I LOVE dark colors. I like how it looks with the turquoise and lavender but if it’s not appealing, then it’s not appealing. Be honest - I need constructive criticism. A fresh pair of eyes is always appreciated. Thanks!
